The apartment

This large and bright apartment has a unique location on the seafront in the Ognina-Picanello district, a safe and peaceful district three km east of the center of Catania. This area is perfect for extended families or groups of friends who want a quiet holiday, but still within walking distance of city life. For those traveling with small children, or many children, a large apartment is often more flexible and suitable than a hotel. The area is an excellent starting point for exploring Catania and the city's surroundings.

From the apartment, it is a short distance to cafes, restaurants, shops and the popular fishing port of San Giovanni Li Cuti with swimming opportunities. On the building's first floor, there is an authentic Sicilian cafe. There is a free public car park outside the apartment building and from the airport it takes about 15 minutes by car or taxi.

Large terrace, one part of the terrace is furnished with a table and 4 chairs, and another part part is furnished with two sunbeds. The terrace extends around most of the apartment and both bedrooms and living room have direct access to the terrace

The rental includes a set of bed linen, bath towels and a hand towel per guest.

Cleaning, electricity an gas are included in the rent

Smoking not allowed. Pets not allowed.

A deposit of 20% of the rental sum covers any need for extra cleaning due to careless use, damage/missing/lost material etc.

The apartment is primarily rented out on a weekly basis and primarily from Sunday to Sunday. Contact us by email for other requests.

From the apartment it is 1 km to the Corso Italia shopping street, which is the most exclusive shopping street in Catania with luxury stores such as Armani, Dolce&Gabanna, Boss, Prada and more. Corso Italia stretches from the sea up to Via Etnea, and here there are several pleasant cafes and bars.

Catania city center is three km away from the apartment. If you don't want to walk, there are good bus connections from the bus stop which is 50 m from the apartment. Here you can take the bus to the center of Catania or to the charming coastal towns of Aci Castello and Aci Trezza.

At Piazza Nettuno, five minutes from the apartment, there are several options for public transport to other areas of Catania and the surrounding area. It is seven minutes to the Catania Europa train station.
